Delivering on Clients’ Goals Through Listening and Attending to Details

Stacy Navarro O’Connor is a compassionate and detailed advocate for individuals going through the process of a divorce. She focuses on listening to clients and understanding their goals and the nuances of their cases. She strongly believes that family law is all in the details. Therefore, she zeroes in on those details and uses them to advocate for her clients and to portray her client’s “story” in the best possible light. Stacy recognizes the challenges of raising a family in New Jersey, an expensive state where parents and children tend to lead busy lives. She enjoys working with clients on their family budgets and parenting schedules.

A Family Law Attorney with Civil Litigation Experience

Stacy began her legal career as a family law clerk to the Honorable Gerald J. Council, Mercer County (now Middlesex County), Superior Court of New Jersey. After her clerkship, she worked as a civil defense attorney for a mid-sized Newark law firm. After spending some time at home with her children, in 2019 Stacy returned to her passion for family law with Ceconi & Cheifetz, LLC.

Stacy Navarro O’Connor: a Family Oriented Volunteer in Her Community

In the community, Stacy is most proud of her volunteer work with organizations focusing on families and children. She served many years as a board member for The Connection in Summit and has been volunteering with the Santa Claus Shop for over a decade. Recently, she has enjoyed volunteering as a facilitator in the Union County Covid-19 vaccination clinics.

Stacy and her husband, Matt, are raising their three college and high school aged children in Union County. She enjoys spending time with her family at the Jersey Shore, travelling, walking her two dogs and reading.
